Exhibition: PROFILES ON THE PAST

 18th July until the 26th July (closed Sunday 21st- Tuesday 23rd June}

10.30am - 3.30pm.  Admission free. Cafe open

Embark on a journey through the stories of a handful of the diverse individuals who lived in and around the hall throughout its 700 year history. From medieval vicars to modern-day archaeologists, immerse yourself in their stories and get a closer look at some of their items from the archaeological excavation undertaken between 1973 and 1976 on loan from York Archaeological Trust.


Living history day with Frei Compagnie

Saturday 20th July. 10.30am - 3.30pm

As part of The Festival of Archaeology, medieval re-enactors Frei Compagnie take over Bedern Hall for a Living History display. Hand on experiences of medieval food, crafts and arms.
