From fire eating to stilt walking, face painting to cheese tasting, there’s something for everyone with this family fun-filled day!

Including Raven Morris street procession, Steampunk Morris Dancing

Plus summer wreath decorating competition for Goodramgate businesses.

11:00 Assemble at Monk Bar

11:10 The Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of York proclaims the start of the Festival

11.15 Procession to Kings Square returning to College Green. Led by Raven Morris; Civic Party, and Stilt walker

From Noon Performances on College Green by Raven Morris

Civic Party to judge window dressing competition

Stilt walker and Raven Morris perform in the street

14:15 Procession from College Green to Kings Square returning to Holy Trinity churchyard

15:00 Fire eating display in Holy Trinity churchyard.

Grab an entry form from our stand near the NT shop and get hunting for the 10 firey facts displayed in windows down Goodramgate. 

Return your competed entry form to Ambiente before 4pm on 16th June.

The voucher will be awarded to the entrant with the first correct entry form drawn. The draw will take place at 4.15pm 16th June.

The name on the entry form must be someone over 18 years old.

Wild like flowers & flames

16th June, 16:30, Holy Trinity Church

Join us for a relaxed and relaxing way to ease into summer. Across a series of three performances, Laura Sutcliffe will look at the relationship between nature and creativity performing original music and poetry. Join us for all three or drop in for a stand alone session. Each performance will last one hour.

Tickets £5 plus booking fee.
